How many pages can I split at once?

There is no hard limit on the number of pages. Each PDF can be up to 20 MB. Very large files may take a few extra seconds to process.

What is the format of page ranges?

Use comma-separated values. A single number selects one page (e.g. "5"). A dash defines a range (e.g. "1-3"). Example: "1-3, 5, 7-9" creates three PDFs — pages 1 to 3, page 5, and pages 7 to 9.

Will the quality of my PDF be affected?

No. The split operation does not re-encode or modify any content. Pages are copied exactly as they appear in the original.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?

No, password-protected PDFs cannot be split. Remove the password protection first using your PDF reader, then split the file.

Are my files kept private?

Your files are processed on our servers solely to perform the split. They are deleted automatically once the download is complete and are never shared or stored long-term.
