Privacy Policy

Your files

Files you upload are processed entirely in memory for the duration of your conversion request. They are never written to disk or to any persistent storage on our servers. The converted result is returned directly to your browser in the same response — there is no separate storage step, and no copy of your file or its contents is retained by us afterward.

What we collect

We collect two categories of information:

• Usage analytics — which tool was used, file extension and size (not filename or content), whether a conversion succeeded or failed, and how long it took. This is used to understand which tools are useful and to fix problems, not to identify you individually.
• Technical/security data — your IP address is read briefly to apply rate limiting (preventing automated abuse of the conversion service). It is held in memory only, is not logged permanently, and is discarded shortly after.

Analytics provider

We use PostHog to collect the anonymized usage analytics described above. PostHog may set cookies or use similar local storage in your browser to distinguish sessions. We do not use this data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Accounts

No account is required to use any conversion tool. An account is only created if you subscribe to Pro, in which case Clerk (our authentication provider) holds your email address and login credentials, and Stripe (our payment processor) holds your billing information. We don't store your payment card details ourselves.

Your rights

Because we don't store your files or require an account, there is no persistent personal data tied to your file conversions for us to provide, export, or delete on request. If you have questions about the anonymized analytics we collect, or about this policy, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle data changes — for example, if we introduce accounts or paid plans — this page will be updated and the date above will reflect the change.
