Frequently asked questions

Will the text on my slides be editable?
No. Each slide is a full-page image of the original PDF page, not editable text or shapes. This preserves the exact look of your PDF, but you won't be able to select or edit individual words in PowerPoint — the same tradeoff most PDF-to-PPT converters make without OCR or vector re-extraction.
How many pages can I convert at once?
There is no hard limit on the number of pages. Each PDF can be up to 20 MB. Very large files may take a few extra seconds to process.
What resolution are the slides rendered at?
Pages are rendered at twice the PDF's native resolution (roughly 144 DPI), which keeps text and graphics sharp when presenting or zooming in.
What size will the presentation be?
The whole presentation is sized to match the aspect ratio and dimensions of your PDF's first page. If your PDF has mixed page sizes, later pages are still placed as full-slide images but the deck's own slide size is fixed to the first page.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
No, password-protected PDFs cannot be converted. Remove the password protection first using your PDF reader, then convert the file.
Are my files kept private?
Your files are processed on our servers solely to perform the conversion. They are deleted automatically once the download is complete and are never shared or stored long-term.
