Frequently asked questions
- How do I specify the page order?
- Use a comma-separated, 1-indexed list of page numbers in the order you want them to appear. A single number selects one page (e.g. "5"). A dash defines a range (e.g. "1-3"). Example: "3,1,2" moves page 3 to the front, followed by pages 1 and 2.
- What happens to pages I don't list?
- Any page not included in the order is removed from the output PDF. Only the pages you list are kept, in the sequence you specify.
- Can I list the same page twice?
- No, each page number can appear only once in the order. If you need a page to appear multiple times, use the split-pdf tool to extract it first.
- Will the quality of my PDF be affected?
- No. Reorganizing does not re-encode or modify any content. Pages are copied exactly as they appear in the original.
- Can I organize a password-protected PDF?
- No, password-protected PDFs cannot be reorganized. Remove the password protection first using your PDF reader, then organize the file.
- Are my files kept private?
- Your files are processed on our servers solely to perform the reorganization. They are deleted automatically once the download is complete and are never shared or stored long-term.
