Features
Multi-sheet support
Each worksheet is preserved as its own section in the output PDF.
Portrait & landscape
Switch orientation to fit wide spreadsheets without cutting off columns.
Adaptive font scaling
Text shrinks automatically as a sheet gets wider — from 9pt headers on a 6-column sheet down to 6pt past 25 columns — so dense data stays legible instead of overflowing.
Clear column-limit errors
If a sheet has more columns than fit on the page, FloxerFile names the exact sheet and suggests landscape mode or trimming columns, instead of silently cutting data off.
Automatic page breaks
Long sheets split cleanly across multiple pages whenever a row would run past the bottom margin.
Supported formats
Excel 2007 and later
Open XML format used by Excel 2007 and all modern spreadsheet applications.
Excel 97–2003
Legacy binary format from older Excel versions, fully supported.
Output format: .pdf
Frequently asked questions
- What happens if my columns don't fit the page?
- FloxerFile checks your widest sheet against a minimum readable column width for the chosen orientation. If it doesn't fit, you'll get a message naming the exact sheet and suggesting landscape mode or trimming columns — nothing is silently cut off.
- Which Excel formats are supported?
- .xlsx (Excel 2007 and later) and .xls (Excel 97–2003) are both supported. Workbooks with multiple sheets are handled automatically — each sheet becomes its own section in the PDF.
- How is the PDF laid out?
- Each worksheet starts on its own A4 page, with the header row shaded light gray. Long sheets continue automatically onto extra pages, and grid lines are optional.
- Will my formatting be preserved?
- Column structure, headers, and optionally grid lines are preserved. You can also choose between portrait and landscape layout. Complex styling such as cell colors, custom fonts, and embedded charts is not currently reproduced.
- What happens with very large files?
- Files up to 10 MB are supported. If your spreadsheet has a very large number of columns, try switching to landscape orientation to fit more content on each page.
