Crop Video
Upload an MP4, set the crop area, and download the result — free, no account required.
FloxerFile crops an MP4 video to the exact width, height, and position you specify, directly on our servers. Useful for removing black bars, focusing on part of the frame, or changing aspect ratio. No software to install, no data stored after conversion.
How it works
- 1
Upload your MP4 file
Drag and drop your .mp4 file into the converter, or click to browse. Short clips up to 20 MB work best.
- 2
Set the crop area
Enter the width, height, and X/Y offset (from the top-left corner) of the area you want to keep.
- 3
Crop
Click Convert. The crop runs on our servers.
- 4
Download your cropped video
Download the cropped MP4 directly to your device. Your file is never stored — it is deleted immediately after conversion.
Features
Exact pixel positioning
Set the crop width, height, and top-left x/y offset in exact pixels for precise control.
Audio untouched
Only the video stream is re-encoded to apply the crop — the audio track is copied as-is, with zero quality loss.
Rejects impossible crops
If your crop dimensions don't fit inside the source video, the request fails clearly instead of silently producing a broken file.
Rejects unreadable source video
Invalid or corrupted MP4 files are rejected with a clear error.
Supported formats

The most common video container.
Output format: .mp4
Frequently asked questions
- How do I know the right width, height, x, and y values?
- Check your source video's resolution first (e.g. 1920x1080), then choose a crop rectangle that fits inside it — x/y is the top-left corner of the area you want to keep.
- Will cropping affect the audio?
- No — audio is copied directly without re-encoding, only the video frames are cropped.
- What happens if my crop area doesn't fit the video?
- The request fails with a clear error rather than producing a corrupted or empty file.
- Will video quality be affected by cropping?
- Cropping itself only trims the frame, but the video stream is re-encoded to apply it, which involves a normal compression pass.
